Who is Bella for?
Bella is for solo insurance agents, brokers, and small General Agencies that need a back-office system they can run by chat.
Is the beta open to everyone?
No. Bella is opening in a controlled beta first, so the product can be tested with real insurance workflows before public launch.
Does Bella replace a licensed insurance professional?
No. Bella helps with back-office work, notes, drafts, tracking, and reminders. Licensed users remain responsible for insurance decisions.
What happens to data entered into Bella?
Bella stores only what you put in. Client records, commissions, and notes stay in your workspace and are not shared with other agencies. See the security page for the full data handling and PHI readiness details.
Does Bella send every chat message straight to OpenAI?
No. Bella checks risky input with a local safety gate before model, memory, embedding, or tool work. Unsafe prompts are blocked before any provider call. See the AI safety page for details.
How does Bella memory work across plans?
Bella limits memory and context by plan. Chat keeps working when memory is near or at the limit, but extra memory saves can be skipped and the product can show an upgrade or add-on prompt.
Can Bella handle PHI?
Not by default. PHI is allowed only after a signed BAA and PHI onboarding approval. Do not send medical details, member IDs, claim data, or client documents through public forms or email.
Do users need to learn a large platform?
The goal is the opposite. Users should be able to ask Bella for the work they need, then review and approve the result.
